Grief is like the seasons

The seasons of the year can provide a symbolic framework in which to explore grief, change and loss.

Autumn is a time of change. Life as you know it has changed.

Winter can be a season of storms, rain, cold and bleak. Winter emotions can include anger, emptiness, sadness, or depression.

Spring is a time of new birth and new beginnings. Spring brings hope to life. Intense winter feelings lessen. We learn to see things in a different light.

Summer is a time of relaxation, holidays and warmth. Our lives do get better and we are able to move on.

Grieving is a process, like the changing seasons. No season lasts forever.

Blue Skies Tomorrow wants bring hope to those who are going through grief, loss and trauma. There is always hope. You are not alone.
